MONEY PLAY is an ONLINE program, an embodied space to explore the cultural and ancestral patterns of scarcity and survival held in our bodies. Through creative and somatic practice, we reimagine money as a relationship that can sustain care and collective thriving.

Money play: a somatic exploration of money's shadow, memory & the nervous system

study with us

Over the past five years, Rooted has been evolving from a pre-pandemic learning space into a deinstitutionalized hub of study, research, and embodied practice. This is a place for the curious, for those who long for learning that feels alive in the body and grounded in relationship, and for those who believe that study belongs to the commons rather than behind the closed doors of academic institutions. Through our programs and gatherings, we bring people together across identities and geographies to explore care, creativity, cultural imagination, and the communal skills needed for the worlds to come. This is learning in service of the common good, and we hope these offerings become a source of inspiration and belonging for you.Paragraph

CURRENTLY RUNNING & PAST PROGRAMS

A 9-month journey into somatic shadow work, Edge-Play supports participants in exploring the parts of self, relationship, and culture we’ve been taught to suppress, fear, or exile. Blending depth psychology with embodied practice, the program unfolds in two parts: Part I centers on personal and relational shadow material, while Part II turns toward collective and cultural transformation. Participants can join the full arc or either part. This is a space for those ready to meet the unknown at their edges—with courage, curiosity, and care.
