Embodying the Elements (AIR) with Marcela
Our bodies naturally long for freedom. For ease, fluidity, depth and integration. For movement, spaciousness and transformation. In this class, we’ll explore the elements of Earth, Water, Fire and Air, and the intimate way they’re alive in our bodies. As we drop into the world of physicality, sensation, action and perception, we’ll remember our resourcefulness, and the endless potential that exists beyond trauma and old stories. Each class will be a combination of breath, body practices and movement, curated so you can dance with your curiosity and meet the rhythms of the world. This month’s embodying the elements theme is: Air. Air is the element of our thoughts, imagination and vision. It’s our senses, skin and nerves; the most delicate and intricate way we take information in and out. It can be where we connect to something divine, but also where we construct limiting belief systems. Air is transparent and encompasses everything. It fills every open space. Without movement or openings, air becomes stagnant, stale and even polluted by its surroundings. Just like with our beliefs and repetitive perspectives. But when we energize and open our minds, creating space, flow and movement, we get fresh ideas, see the world anew, sense into reality and interact with intelligence and clarity. We’ll move our heads, alight our senses and awaken our skin in this practice. https://fierceembodiment.com/
