Grief and Grieving with Arielle Schwartz
From Arielle: "I strongly believe in the human capacity to be resilient in the face of grief and loss. Within our workshop, I will share tools for attending to grief that are grounded within an approach that is both strength-based and resilience-informed. A strength-based approach emphasizes our inherent capacity to heal from loss when we have sufficient access to resources and support. A resilience-informed approach to care maintains that every human being has an intrinsic drive toward wholeness once those resources and supports are in place. No one is immune to hardship. This feels especially true during this year of tremendous loss related to loss of financial security, loss of home due to floods or fires, or loss of health or loved ones due to Covid. Many of us are facing personal losses while we are also experiencing collective grief. While hardship can and will fundamentally change us; we can also be changed for the better. A strength-based approach identifies and builds upon existing personal strengths and increases access to resources. This workshop offers strategies that have been shown to help people grow through adversity and guides you through an embodied, experiential journey to help you attend to the pain of your grieving heart.”You can download the slides Arielle presented HERE.
